Cameron Diaz: For the first time she shows her son to the public

Last weekend, Cameron Diaz (52) gave the public her first glimpse of her almost one-year-old son Cardinal. The British "Daily Mail" published photos showing the actress with the little one in her arms in Santa Barbara.

In the snapshots, the "Charlie's Angels" actress strolls through the streets of the Californian city with her son in a casual outfit. Diaz wore a loose-fitting white blouse, black sweatpants and a striking black hat as well as large glasses. Cardinal, whose face was obscured in the photos, was dressed in light-colored pants with a bear print and a matching sweater.

The actress looks extremely happy with her offspring in the pictures. She was spotted with the baby in a stroller back in August, but the little one was not recognizable at the time. The Hollywood star attaches great importance to protecting her children's privacy as best as possible.

Little Cardinal's father is musician Benji Madden (45), with whom Cameron Diaz has been married for ten years. The two already have a five-year-old daughter named Raddix, of whom only a few photos exist. The couple announced the birth of their second child in March 2024 with a joint post on Instagram .

"We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is amazing and we are all so happy he is here!", it said under the picture of a drawing. Even then, the parents made it clear that there would be no further details about their offspring: "For the safety and privacy of the children, we will not post any pictures - but he is really cute."
