María Cristina Bravo, mother of 'Los Chicaneros,' reveals she was diagnosed with cancer: 'There's fear.'

Last Sunday, July 27, María Cristina Bravo, better known as the mother of "Los Chicaneros," reappeared on digital platforms after undergoing surgery.

As usual, the Colombian content creator shared a video on Instagram with her husband, Nelson, and her son, Nicolás, to reveal some details about her health after undergoing some medical tests.

In the recording, the elder Botero can be heard mentioning that María Cristina's tests were conducted a few weeks ago, so they decided to take some time off the internet to process what they discovered.

"I wanted to prepare myself so I could explain to you all what's happening to me. I was diagnosed with stage one cancer," the mother announced at the beginning of the clip, while her partner held her hand in a sign of support.

In addition, Bravo commented that she was diagnosed with a mass in her left breast, and that after several tests and surgery, the diagnosis was confirmed. The influencer also added that despite the news, her treatment continues.

"We're going to start preventive radiation therapy and oral therapy," María Cristina stated during her presentation. She added that she didn't feel up to talking about the issue because she's afraid of what might happen to her life.

According to the Colombian, although learning of her diagnosis fills her with great uncertainty about the fate of her family and herself, she believes the best course of action is to leave everything in God's hands.

"There's gratitude because thanks to everything, we were able to detect this cancer in its early stages," emphasized the mother of "Los Chicaneros" during the conversation. For his part, Nicolás indicated that these types of situations are what take families by surprise.

"You often see it and don't think it's going to affect you so closely," said the Boteros' son in the video, referring to the fact that María Cristina's diagnosis has been a shock for all of them.

Despite this, 'Los Chicaneros' assured at the end of the recording that, although they have yet to finalize certain details, they are willing to support the mother in whatever she needs to overcome her treatment.
