Yolanda Díaz, star of Madrid Fashion Week for the involuntary 'theft' of a ring

Yolanda Díaz is a great fashion fan and, for this reason, she did not hesitate to attend this weekend the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week , the Madrid Fashion catwalk, where she wanted to see not only the latest trends, but also support Spanish designers, as she explained. The vice president not only attended some shows live, but also walked around the stands of some fashion and accessories designers.
It was during her visit to one of them, specifically to the Tarti firm , where she became the protagonist without wanting to. Díaz was a big fan of this designer's rings, which are very popular for their showy and enormous shapes. Tarti rings are rings that any 'trendy' person wants to have on their fingers, and the Minister of Labour is one of them.
The Vice President of the Government and her assistants visited the area, met their designers and took photos with them. For one of them, Díaz put on a striking yellow ring and, after posing and thanking them, she left... with the accessory still on her finger.
The incident was revealed by one of the creators of Tarti, Elena Salvador Torres , in a video on the Sirius Style profile. “A person came by here, put on a ring, her assistant too, and I didn’t see the bills. She did a complete ‘simpa’. She told me ‘I’ll be right back’, but she didn’t come back,” she said, in a half-serious, half-joking tone, while showing a photo of Díaz wearing the ring.
The story, as expected, soon began to circulate on social media, and even more so among fashion fans who were present at the previously known Cibeles catwalk .
The anecdote was settled by Yolanda Díaz herself with a message. Seeing that the matter was becoming the talk of the last hours of the MBFW, she asked to meet with them to pay. « They wrote to us minutes after the video came out , very nice, telling us that with the fuss, the mess... (...) They contacted us with much affection to pay and congratulate us, we informed them of the video and they did not get upset. We thank their entire team for not being offended and for letting the video run its course. The cake was paid for ,» they say.
As you can see from their own publications, Tarti rings are becoming very fashionable among women (especially but not exclusively) who are more into urban and casual trends. One of them is, for example, the singer Lola Indigo or the actress Julia Camus .
