These are the best spas in Colombia and Latin America in 2025, according to the World Spa Awards
The World Spa Awards 2025, considered the "Oscars" of wellness, announced their winners in the different categories that recognize excellence in spas and wellness centers globally.

In this edition, NIZUC Resort & Spa, located in Cancun (Mexico), took two of the most outstanding titles: Best Resort Spa in Mexico and Best Resort Spa in Latin America.
The resort, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, has established its reputation for integrating advanced therapies with rituals inspired by Mayan tradition. Its flagship spa, NIZUC Spa by ESPA, combines body and facial treatments with immersive experiences such as the NIZUC Renewal, the Sleep Ritual, and the Mayan Cacao Ceremony. It also offers personalized services for men and a thermal spa experience area.
The resort complements its offerings with the NIZUC MedSpa, specializing in non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as radiofrequency, lymphatic drainage, and body contouring. Among its innovations are FDA-approved treatments like SculpSure and muscle toning techniques such as Cooltone.

In addition to this offering, there's the NIZUC Life program, which promotes wellness as a lifestyle. Guests can participate in yoga, breathwork, functional training, or paddleboard yoga classes , as well as private sessions with certified trainers.
Located in the exclusive Punta Nizuc, the resort sits on a private 29-acre estate surrounded by mangroves and facing the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef , the second largest in the world. The best spa in Colombia: Presence Spa at the JW Marriott Bogotá In the case of Colombia, the award for Best Spa in the country was given to Presence Spa & Wellness Center at the JW Marriott Bogotá , which recently launched its "Cycles of Rebirth" program, a proposal that invites you to reconnect with your inner well-being through three themed seasons: Youth, Inspiration, in November and Celebration, in December.

“ We wanted to create an experience that didn’t talk about youth in a superficial sense, but about feeling energy and clarity again ,” explained Juliana Bernal, Hotel Manager of the JW Marriott Bogotá.
With these distinctions, both NIZUC Resort & Spa and the JW Marriott Bogotá consolidate the region's leadership in the wellness industry , a sector that is increasingly important in luxury tourism.
