Travel agencies propose measures to expand the number of Imserso beneficiaries.

The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) has praised some of the improvements introduced in the new edition of the Imserso social tourism program, although it believes there are aspects that should be modified in the future to expand the number of beneficiaries .
These are necessary adjustments that guarantee greater territorial equity , more streamlined management of vacancies, and an offering that better meets the needs of beneficiaries and the tourism sector as a whole, the employers' association stated in a statement on Monday.
The goal of more efficient management of the reservation process is to reduce the long lines that some beneficiaries face. Furthermore, the agencies propose expanding inland travel options and including tourism along the Cantabrian coast to boost the entire Spanish territory.
CEAV has held meetings with the two program beneficiaries, Mundicolor and Turismo Social , who informed them that there will be compensation for reservations initiated online by travelers and then recovered by travel agencies to complete the trip booking process.
The meetings also served to clarify some operational issues and some new features for this edition, such as the 100-euro linear supplement , which applies to both peak season trips and the second trip for the same user. Among other issues, these meetings clarified that, per tender, there must be a minimum of one inland trip per province .
