After nine months of work, the town of Blanzy, which had been split in two since the disappearance of the Pont de la République as part of the RCEA construction project, has been reunited. This Friday morning at 9:20 a.m., construction crews removed the barriers blocking access.

Measuring 35.63 meters long and 14.7 meters wide, the new bridge allows passage for bicycles, pedestrians, and cars. This timely reopening was welcomed by residents who honked their horns as they crossed the bridge, as well as by RCEA employees passing underneath.
