Mâcon. Anger among Mâconnais physiotherapists over the freeze on revaluations of procedures: "We're limping"

Around ten physiotherapists from Mâconnais demonstrated in front of the health insurance headquarters against the freeze on the revaluation of basic procedures.
It's a rare mobilization. This Thursday morning, about ten physiotherapists from the Mâconnais region demonstrated in front of the headquarters of the Saône-et-Loire health insurance company in Mâcon. Symbolically, they laid down old walking frames and crutches to send a message: "We limp."
The reason for the discontent among these liberals lies in the recent freeze on the revaluation of basic procedures. Over a year ago, the profession negotiated a slight increase in the basic price of the procedure (remuneration paid by social security to the health professional).
The increase was due to come into effect on July 1, but the measure was frozen due to "excessive health spending."
"When I started 21 years ago, the basic procedure cost €14.28 gross; today, it's €16.13. It's becoming very complicated. Especially when compared to inflation," says Florian Andru, a physiotherapist in Charnay-lès-Mâcon. Overall, everyone points to a loss of trust between public authorities and the liberal profession.
The material symbolically deposited in front of the CPAM must be collected by the association Des pompiers et des hommes (DPDH) to provide a second use for these objects.
