Discover the winners of the 2025 Incandescences Prize: young theatrical creations in the spotlight in Lyon

From June 17th to 21st, the Prix Incandescences took place on the stages of the Théâtre National Populaire and the Célestins for its 4th edition. Over the course of five days, fourteen companies presented their projects or finalized shows before an audience and a jury of industry professionals.
Two prizes are awarded: one in the Models category, reserved for projects currently in development. Another in the Shows category, for works already staged. Here are the two 2025 winners, distinguished by the jury:
Models Category
Mobile Homes - Star Eaters Company Text, production and staging: Tristan Dubois
"Camille drives the biggest trucks that can be driven on the continent. One morning, while she's transporting a mobile home, Yourop appears out of nowhere. He's eight years old, with a serious look and an unwavering smile. This encounter turns Camille's life upside down and reveals her contradictions: her need to reconnect with the forest but also this feeling of freedom she experiences singing feminist folk-punk at the controls of a steel monster."
Supported by several regional stages, the company will receive a co-production contribution and will be programmed at the TNP during the 2026-2027 season.

Shows Category
The Incorruptible Bodies - Company The Disorder of Things Design and performance: Aurélia Lüscher
"What happens to the bodies of our deceased? Following the death of a loved one, Aurelia Lüscher begins a long-term investigation, following the traces of these professions that take care of the remains, hidden from view. This documented and delicate piece recounts her encounters and discoveries, questions today's rituals and the possible choices in the face of death."
The show will be on display at the Célestins during the 2026-2027 season.

The Prix Incandescences is more than just an award: it marks the beginning of a new phase for the winning artists. By offering them these opportunities, the festival confirms its vocation to showcase Lyon's theatrical creation.
