Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord: The truffle market exhibits Christine and Pierre Fauré

Vibrant acrylic paintings and award-winning monochrome photography: discover the exhibition by artists Christine Fauré and her son, Pierre Fauré, until July 13.
Artist Christine Duranton Fauré works on canvas, wood, and slate, as well as acrylics. She began drawing at a young age, primarily caricatures, eventually evolving into painting, which has become a passion. She draws heavily on works from foreign countries to unleash her inspiration, using multiple techniques that allow her to explore different genres and reflect the richness and diversity of her artistic approach.
Pierre Fauré, professional photographer, recently awarded "Capturing the moment, immortalizing beauty," has just received a score of 20/20 from the jury and the gold medal from the International Federation of Photography at the Reidisheim competition in Alsace, in the monochrome projected images category. An authentic, handcrafted black and white photo without retouching, "Képhesides" radiates a dreamlike and surreal world. His photo was in competition with 2,400 others from around twenty countries.
Exhibition to be discovered from this Sunday until July 13, Monday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the truffle hall.
