Theater, humor, music: the new cultural season of Roquebrune-sur-Argens unveiled, Catherine Lara to open

Mayor Jean Cayron launched an evening alternating between videos and improvisations by students from the Cours Florent in Montpellier.
"This summer again," the mayor said, "more than 50,000 spectators participated in our events, including 12,000 for the LAC Festival alone (...). The new program that we are going to unveil to you reflects our region: eclectic, generous, demanding and open to all audiences."
Satisfy all desires
On the giant screen, after a quick retrospective of past events, the audience discovered excerpts from musical, choreographic, theatrical, and comedy shows. A varied program to satisfy all tastes.
"Because culture," says Jean Cayron, "is a wealth that must be shared within the family and instilled in our children (...). We have also ensured an affordable pricing policy."
A desire and choices that are affirmed from this Saturday, September 13, with the opening of this season, the entrance on stage of the dancers of the Kumo Company accompanied by Catherine Lara and her violin. With Identities , the apparent mixture of genres disappears in favor of artistic emotion.
The sense of belonging to Provençal culture will be expressed once again with the return of the theatrical walks of the Compagnie Dans la cour des grands, dedicated this time to Alphonse Daudet (Saturday, October 4). But also with the performance of Fanny , by the Compagnie Baudracco , always attached to the verve of Pagnol (Saturday, November 8).
The Espace Robert-Manuel will naturally give way to music, whether lyrical with a Bizet Carmen adapted for 1 hour (Saturday, October 11), or soul-reggae with the extraordinary Faada Freddy (Saturday, October 25).
Humor, a sure value
The public will be able to laugh at the humorous remarks of Blandine Lehout (Saturday, November 29), Tom Baldetti, Liane Foly or the Jamel Comedy Club , or at the amusingly chiseled lines from the plays Dommages or Changer l'eau des fleurs .
Finally, the end-of-year celebrations will offer young audiences their share of magic with the musical Alice and the Winter Miracle (Friday, December 12). But the show will resume in January 2026 with evenings promising to be just as enjoyable.
