With Picasso, there are only ambivalences

And if I told you that there was an exhibition dedicated to Picasso, women and bulls, you would tell me that no one in the world would have the masochism to tackle so many explosive subjects head-on, the mixture of which would have the impact of a GBU-57 bomb.
And yet this exhibition exists, and I found it fantastic. Better still, it allows us to address in a little more depth many debates that have now been rehashed to the bone: man and the artist, the painter and his wives, bullfighting and animal suffering.
If "Eros in Picasso's Arena" (Estrine Museum, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, until September 21) has a slightly provocative feel, it is to invite us to stray from the lazy paths...
