Drusenheim. A new paramedical center opens its doors in September.

At 1 rue de la Libération in Drusenheim, work is progressing well. Amandine Bornert , an osteopath based in the town, has purchased a building to realize her project, which she has been thinking about for three years: opening a multidisciplinary center focused on "well-being and perinatal care."
"I have a fairly multidisciplinary job: I often take care of entire families, ranging from babies to grandparents. I realize that alone we go fast, but together, in a multidisciplinary way, we go further," explains the practitioner, who retrained six years ago after working in sales.
In total, 16 professionals are expected to move into the new center starting September 2. "Most of the different therapists had offices, so the moves will take place over two months, depending on the notice periods given by each therapist," explains Amandine Bornert.
Speech therapy, orthoptics, graphopedagogy, psychotherapy, osteopathy, sophrology, dietetics, hypnotherapy, reflexology, and kinesiology are all disciplines that will be found in a single location. "I tried to find cohesion, to have disciplines that complement each other. The goal is multidisciplinary care when necessary," emphasizes the osteopath. The idea is therefore to facilitate the care pathway by being "complementary to medical pathways," she indicates.
The place is dedicated to welcoming families from the youngest to the oldest, "with particular attention paid to perinatal care, because today, there is a bit of everything and anything in this area in terms of care," says the project leader. Conceived "as a cocoon of well-being for all" on approximately 300 m 2 spread over two floors, the building will be called "Maison Naïti", short for Neytiri, in reference to the film Avatar. The name was chosen "in relation to the vision of this people which is very holistic, of comprehensive care of people", explains Amandine Bornert.
The building includes 13 rooms, each of which will be occupied by one or two therapists. In addition to these offices, there will be a large conference room "dedicated to yoga and Pilates workshops, but also for lectures on eating disorders and infant feeding," the project leader cites as an example.
According to Amandine Bornert, the professionals moving into the multidisciplinary center are still taking on new patients. "Of course, in speech therapy, there's a bit of a wait, like everywhere else," she says. Appointments will need to be made directly with the professionals, but general information about Maison Naïti will soon be available online for a simplified process.
