Türkiye: A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hits the west of the country
The earthquake was felt in several cities in the west of the country, including Istanbul and Izmir, according to Turkish authorities, who have not yet announced any damage or casualties.

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Sindirgi in western Turkey's Balikesir province on Saturday, the Turkish Disaster Management Agency (AFAD) said.
The earthquake was felt in several cities in the west of the country, including Istanbul and Izmir, according to Turkish authorities, who have not yet announced any damage or casualties.
