Garonne en fête introduces its gourmet and musical break

Garonne Beach, which had reopened after a brief closure from Thursday to Friday, serves this year as a "mandatory break" for all participants. A food truck, crepes, music, and games allow everyone to either finish the morning or take a break before continuing down the Garonne to Saint-Hilaire-de-Lusignan. Justine will stop there. "Look at my hands," laughs the teenager. "I have blisters everywhere. It's the first time I've done this!" But not the last, I promise, next year she'll do the entire descent.
