Google Just Revealed More of Its Travel Ambitions

Google’s AI push, which led to a record-busting third quarter for parent Alphabet, has set the table for a deeper play by applying agentic AI to categories like travel, the company said on a call with analysts on Wednesday.
“We're working on multiple agentic experiences across key verticals such as travel, commerce shopping and so on,” said Sundar Pichai, Alphabet’s CEO. “And we're paying a lot of attention to creating a seamless user experience, but also to the fact that we need to integrate different partner ecosystems in a way that it creates value for them.”
