Oasis, tribute to Diogo Jota on the day of the reunion. Flowers and emotion at Anfield

Sixteen years after their last performance, Oasis are back on stage: Cardiff was the venue for the first leg of the highly anticipated reunion tour of the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel. In the whirlwind of emotions of a concert that fans had been waiting for for a long time, there was one moment more touching than the others: at the end of "Live Forever", one of the most famous singles by the Manchester band, a photo of Diogo Jota, a Liverpool player who died yesterday after a terrible road accident in Spain , appeared on the screen at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Oasis' dedication was applauded by all 75,000 spectators who had gathered in South Wales, a testament to how much the tragedy involving the Portuguese and his brother has shaken the world. In the afternoon in Cardiff, Cast, a band from Liverpool who opened for the Gallagher brothers, also dedicated the song "Walkaway" to the footballer: "This one is for Diogo Jota, take it easy brother" were the words of John Power, the group's frontman and a huge Reds fan.
Today, Anfield was colored red: spontaneously and since the early hours of the morning, Liverpool fans (and not only) began to bring bouquets of flowers, letters, scarves, shirts and memories for the Portuguese striker in front of the Main Stand of the stadium, a few meters from the memorial of the Hillsborough tragedy. Among the many supporters also the former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, and a delegation of Everton players and staff.
