Muja Buskers Festival: the magic of the IX edition lights up Muggia

Muja Buskers Festival: the magic of the IX edition lights up Muggia
3

The IX edition of the Muja Buskers Festival comes to life and lands in the city. The five-day event of contemporary circus and street theater invades the streets of the historic center of Muggia with its shows and some absolute novelties.

We start with the circus workshops for children and teenagers from 6 to 12 years old scheduled for 4 pm at the Circolo della vela. Forty-five minutes of juggling, balancing and acrobatics that all represent artistic ways to develop creativity and psychomotor skills. Fun is guaranteed but be careful, places are by reservation.

At 5:30 pm in Piazzale Alto Adriatico Largo a Rici Giochi, a space where fun meets reuse. Giant wooden games await young and old for a simple, engaging and sustainable gaming experience; same time and same location also for the Circolo del Circo. Project by Madame Rebiné and DOCC, Hugo Zacchini and the bollettino family will tell the story of the first ever bollettino through exhibitions, talks, lessons and curiosities. An event not to be missed.

At 6 pm the magic of street theater lights up also in the central Piazza Marconi. Fausto Barile, with Gran Teatro Dentro takes spectators inside – it is really the case to say – a show capable of surprising everyone. The second show scheduled in Piazza Marconi is White Bottom by Ramiro Vergaz. A true showman, Vergaz brings his show on stage between contemporary circus and vintage style.

After yesterday's premiere in Piazzale Caliterna at 6:30 pm, “El Aletreo” returns, a show by Humberto Jimenez Rios, a poetic journey suspended between books and dreams. Also in Caliterna, at 8:30 pm, Duo Aguaundfire arrives with the show “Come Inseguiamo Ridendo Certi Orizzonti”. Acronym for Circus, the duo does more than Bertoldo: disasters, poetry and wonder in a unique show.

At 7:00 pm, Piazzale Alto Adriatico lights up with “Tienimi che tengo”, a touching and engaging show, where Circo in Rotta puts on stage strength, poetry and trust. The show is a paid event. The day ends at 9:30 pm with MagdaClan and the show “Eccezione N°23”, a poetic tribute to man and his incredible mechanism, to the circus of life. In this case too, an entrance ticket is required.

The IX edition of the Muja Buskers Festival is possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Promo Turismo, #IoSonoFvg and the Municipality of Muggia. For all further information and to book paid shows, we recommend following the festival's social profiles and the website www.mujabusker.com. The program may be subject to changes based on the weather.
