Medicinema Revolution, the healing power of cinema in Cinecittà

"Cinema can heal. And it can do it for real". With this spirit the MediCinema Revolution was born, appointment that transformed the Cinecittà studios into a emotional and symbolic stage, where the magic of images meets the science of care. The project - conceived and promoted by Cinecittà with the support of the Ministry of Culture and MediCinema Italia Ets - it's a silent revolution but concrete: that of cinetherapy, or the use of cinema as a therapeutic and rehabilitative tool in the wards hospitals and places of care. During the evening of July 5th - realized with the support by The LeadingHotels of the World, Enel, Snam - which welcomed on the set of Ancient Rome in Cinecittà over 450 guests, it was Official teaser of the documentary previewed 'MediCinema Revolution - The Power of Cinetherapy', made with the support of Cinecittà. The film - currently in production - collects testimonials from patients, operators health workers, volunteers, artists and tells the transformative impact of this cultural experience applied to care.
