A Mic portal to encourage the growth of villages

Counteracting depopulation and encouraging long-lasting, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Italian villages. These are the main objectives of the national strategy in favor of widespread cultural heritage, launched by the Minister of Culture, and which is enriched with a portal, "Cultura Borghi" (https://borghi.cultura.gov.it), to support the implementation of regeneration interventions financed by the MiC, in particular, through the resources of the Pnrr Cultura and Investment 2.1 "Attractiveness of villages". The ministerial action, aimed at promoting the implementation of regeneration and innovation interventions in small centers, is the subject of a specific accompanying program of the MiC financed by the PSC Cultura 2014-2020. Within the portal, it is possible to navigate the interactive map of the 245 regeneration projects financed by the MiC, which involve 328 Municipalities, for a total investment of over one billion euros, of which 200 million are earmarked for Imprese Borghi, a facilitative measure in favor of businesses. In addition to news on the initiatives underway in the villages (events, public notices, activation of services), the portal offers an e-learning area with multimedia content on topics regarding the regeneration of small centers and an area reserved for the municipalities benefiting from the resources, for networking activities and sharing information.
