The Reservas del País Foundation holds the 4th Cooperative Fair
The Reservas del País Foundation successfully held the fourth edition of the Santo Domingo Fair of Cooperatives and Allied Associations on June 27 and 28 in the Central Corridor of the Sambil Shopping Center.
This initiative was aimed at microentrepreneurs not affiliated with solidarity microfinance institutions and the general public, with the aim of promoting financial inclusion and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem .
During the two-day fair, 24 charitable financial entities , allied with the Foundation, promoted its benefits to all attendees.
María Isabel Pérez , executive president of the Fundación Reservas del País , thanked the public for their participation and highlighted the importance of continuing to promote these spaces , indicating that, "the objective of these activities is to promote the development of cooperatives and their microentrepreneurs , who are an essential part of the country's economic growth because by improving the economy of their families with their ventures, they generate jobs in their communities."
As a highlight of the event, the Reservas Foundation presented an audiovisual presentation on " The Legacy of Cooperativism in the Dominican Republic: A Historical and Evolutionary Perspective" during the opening ceremony. This video highlights the history of cooperativism in the Dominican Republic and how this sector has positively impacted the lives of thousands of Dominicans. Entrepreneurs, micro-entrepreneurs , and the general public were also able to participate in talks, interactive workshops, raffles, live music, and cultural performances for the enjoyment of the entire family.

It is a non-profit entity , part of the Reservas Family, which contributes to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable micro-enterprise population through financing to solidarity credit entities such as cooperatives and non-profit associations .
