The first thing that catches your eye in Tübingen is the numerous bicycles everywhere and the cosmopolitan atmosphere, as almost one in three of the city's inhabitants is a student. Its medieval old town, with over 900 years of history , is considered one of the most impressive in Germany. Along the way from the historic center to the castle, you'll find steep staircases, narrow streets, and gabled houses that make this destination feel like a fairytale.
