The Spanish tourist destination that the Mirror recommends visiting and describes as "the Bali of Europe."

The peak season for tourism in Spain is approaching, and the international press, especially the United Kingdom, is rushing to recommend sun and beach destinations in our country.

This Saturday, the Daily Mirror published an article recommending a visit to a coastal town it compares to the Asian island of Bali. It's Tarifa, in Cádiz, and says that "its beaches and peaceful atmosphere are completely unique."

"Tarifa is the southernmost city in Europe, less than 14 kilometers from Africa. Its privileged location, connected to two seas and two continents, and its access to the foothills of the Penibética mountain range offer travelers a wealth of opportunities to explore and experience," the article states.

The English newspaper notes that "Tarifa's location makes it prone to very strong winds, making it the windiest city on the continent. As a result, it has become the European capital of kitesurfing , attracting a multitude of passionate surfers every year."

The information recommends visiting beaches like Bolonia, which "is one of Tarifa's most popular beaches for windsurfing, but is also known for its pristine white sand."

Los Lances beach is also a must-visit for more active travelers who want to surf. This beach is also a protected area where you can take long scenic walks to discover the local natural landscape.

"Perhaps the most Balinese beach is Valdevaqueros , which is also home to the popular surfer bar Tumbao Beach Bar," the Mirror article adds.

The report adds that "Tarifa's old town is also worth exploring, packed with tapas bars, nightclubs, and local produce shops. One of the many things that distinguishes Tarifa from Bali and other destinations is its vibrant nightlife, enjoyed by both locals and tourists."
