Sheep wool is naturally packed with essential nutrients such as organic nitrogen, potassium and sulphur. In the form of fertiliser pellets, the wool releases all these useful substances to your plants and it retains moisture, so you need to water less. In addition, the wool pellets provide an airy soil, so that the roots of your plants can grow well.

  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor plants: from vegetable garden to ornamental garden, balcony or house plants.
  • Contributes to a healthy, airy soil.
  • Feeds plants for up to 240 days.
  • Fully compostable after 8 months
  • Suitable for use in the organic garden.

ORO wool pellets make natural plant food from 100% sheep wool. Founder Natalie Bogtman from Haarlem started this initiative when she discovered that wool without a destination is often destroyed. With the wool pellets she gives wool a sustainable second life as a soil improver. Without additives, so without chemicals and without finite raw materials. The wool comes from grazing herds of, for example, Natuurmonumenten, the Goois Natuurreservaat and the Blaricummerheide. Natalie also gives felting workshops, to show people what can be done with the wool of living sheep.
