The flower stems of Muscari 'Latifolium' are covered in charming bell-shaped flowers in graduating shades of blue: from deep indigo to soft pale blue. Grape hyacinths are reliable, undemanding, and transform borders or pots into a sea of blue blooms. They also make a beautiful underplanting—especially when planted in clusters close together for maximum effect. And don't forget: bees love them!

With their striking flowers on long, straight stems, the ornamental onion ( Allium ) creates a beautiful rhythmic effect in your garden like no other. Plant them in odd-numbered clusters and repeat in several locations for the best results. The airy flower clusters of Allium 'Violet Beauty' resemble those of Allium christophii (another favorite!), but slightly smaller, semi-circular, and higher on the stem.

Flowering : May-June
