A 59-year-old Czech citizen was driving the wrong way on an expressway. A camera operator who spotted the erratic vehicle reported the incident to the police. Officers detained the man and fined him two thousand złoty. "Such behavior on expressways can lead to a road accident," the police warned.
"The Hyundai driver was driving against the flow of traffic on the S-12 expressway from Piaski towards Lublin," the Lublin police reported on social media.
According to the officers, the driver's dangerous behavior was noticed by a camera operator from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. It was thanks to his report that the police learned of the incident.
