A knife-wielding man attacked a man in the center of Tarnów. Police are hunting for the perpetrator.
According to witnesses, an argument broke out between a group of six people in an alleyway. As a result, one of the participants pulled out a sharp object—possibly a knife—and stabbed one of the men in the stomach.
The injured man was taken to hospital. The attacker is still at large.The injured man was taken to hospital. Junior Sergeant Kamil Wójcik of the Tarnów police reported to RMF that the victim was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the wound, while serious, is not life-threatening.
The attacker fled the scene. Police say he's a man in his 30s. Officers are actively searching for him. Residents of Tarnów are shocked. They're reporting online that there's surveillance footage at the site of the attack. "It's only a matter of time before they find him," commenters.
Investigators are appealing for help from witnesses. Anyone with information about this incident should contact the nearest police station or call the Tarnów police station at 47 831-2900.
