In central Wrocław, vandals destroy seven driving school cars. Losses amount to 37,000 złoty.
The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. According to Rafał, Wrocdrive's manager, the perpetrators smashed the passenger-side windows of vehicles parked at 62 Legnicka Street and then searched the interior of the cars, likely looking for valuables.
"As a result of their actions, seven vehicles were damaged. Losses amount to approximately 37,000 złoty. Of this, 30,000 złoty is lost income resulting from the inability to use the vehicles, and 7,000 złoty is the cost of replacing the windows. Currently, six of the damaged vehicles have been returned to service, but one remains inoperable, generating a daily loss of 1,400 złoty," explains the center's manager.
The Wrocław police are investigating the case. The perpetrators are unknown.The police were immediately notified of the incident. A task force and a forensic technician were dispatched to the scene. Cash was missing from the vehicles, and the perpetrators managed to escape. Investigators secured surveillance footage that recorded the incident, but the perpetrators have not yet been identified.
"We are conducting an investigation into a vehicle theft and burglary. We are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding this incident to contact the Wrocław Fabryczna Police Station," said Deputy Commissioner Aleksandra Freus from the Wrocław Municipal Police Headquarters.
