All Ukrainian arguments have been heard, Volodymyr Zelensky declared after Saturday's meeting of Ukraine's security advisers with allies. The talks, attended by representatives of the US, Germany, France, and Poland, among others, took place in the UK.

Saturday's meeting was hosted by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and US Vice President JD Vance , who is holidaying in the UK with his family.

Zelensky said that representatives of the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Finland and Poland took part in the talks, and the aim was to consolidate positions in order to achieve a ceasefire.

"The path to peace for Ukraine should be determined jointly and only jointly with Ukraine, this is the key principle," Zelensky said in his evening address to Ukrainians.

Great Britain. Ukrainians Talked with Allies

The meeting with Vance and Lammy was also attended by the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office , Andriy Yermak , and the secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov .

Under a photo of the four politicians, posted on Channel X by the British Foreign Secretary, Lammy wrote that the topic of the talks was the next steps to be taken for peace in Ukraine.

The Minister assured that "Britain's support for Ukraine remains unwavering and we continue to work towards a just and lasting peace ."

Meeting at U.S. Request. "Significant Progress"

Axios, citing a US official, reported that Vance's hours-long meetings on Saturday resulted in "significant progress" in achieving Trump's goal of ending the war in Ukraine.

The talks between the allies of the Ukrainian side took place in Chevening , Kent, the official country residence of the British foreign minister.

Local media reported that the meeting was organized at the request of the United States.
