Villa Lentz unites artists. A wonderful evening of art.

Three extraordinary Saturday events taking place at the Lentz Villa attracted a huge number of participants to this youngest cultural institution in Szczecin.
The pretext for this shared experience of art was two exhibitions and only one concert, but what a concert! First up was the opening of an exhibition devoted to Szczecin's industrial development after 1945. The exhibition was titled "The Heritage of Szczecin. Industry in Polish Szczecin." The exhibition was prepared in collaboration with the State Archives in Szczecin. Over twenty displays presented the history of such industrial plants as the A. Warski Shipyard, FMS "Polmo," PPDiUR "Gryf," the sugar refinery, "Polmos," FK "Załom," "Selfa," and ZPO "Dana." The displays featured reproductions of documents and photographs from the Archives' holdings.
The exhibition was enriched with original artifacts related to individual factories. Among the items on display were clothing items designed and sewn at the "Dana" Industrial Park. A film edited from newsreels from the communist era was also shown. One of the films depicted the "Skolwin" paper mill, where paper was sourced for, among other things, the printing of "Kurier Szczeciński."
The next exhibition, or rather its closing event, was the last opportunity to see an exhibition of works by Zdzisław Beksiński, one of the most outstanding Polish artists of the 20th century. His works, presented at the Lentz Villa from August 1st of this year, showed the artist's development from photography, through photomontages, to digital experiments.
The evening's artistic culmination was the "Juvenum Hortus" concert. The headliner was Janek Pentz, one of Europe's most intriguing young acoustic guitarists. Pentz is considered a fingerstyle virtuoso—a sophisticated blend of rock, jazz, and classical. He has performed with artists and bands such as Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, Daniel Cavanagh, "Kwiat Jabłoni," Edyta Geppert, and Martyna Jakubowicz.
For those who participated in the over two-hour shared experience of art in its various, multi-layered dimensions, it was an evening full of unforgettable experiences. This was reflected in the expressions of gratitude extended to Jagoda Kimber, director of this unique and distinguished cultural institution, a unique landmark on Szczecin's artistic map. It's also worth noting that many people from film, painting, poetry, and music were present at the Lentz Villa that evening – across generations and in many dimensions: from street art and artistic photography to cosplay. May the spirit continue!
