Traveling by plane, although convenient and fast, carries many restrictions. Some of them are more stringent than, for example, trains or buses – we are talking here about, for example, luggage size limits. When it comes to smoking on board, it is just as undesirable as in other means of transport. Breaking the rules during a sky journey can be extremely unprofitable, the Polish woman recalls how it ended during her flight.

Under the same name, the woman also operates on Instagram, where she is followed by over 92 thousand people. As she says, she has over 700 flights to her name, and traveling is an important part of her life. It is easy to see that thanks to this, she has a wide range of experiences that she can share with others.
In one of her videos, @SamaPrzezŚwiat recalls a flight to Mexico during which one of the passengers decided to smoke a cigarette in the on-board toilet. It turned out that the incident was caught almost immediately, and the careless man had to pay a severe penalty for his act.
"We hear a message from the pilot: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately our sensors have detected smoke in the toilet. Smoking on board is not allowed and is a serious crime, please ask the person who did it to report to the stewardess," recalls the Polish woman.
She added that ultimately there was silence and no one admitted guilt. The crew quickly figured out who had broken the rules using CCTV monitoring. They decided to take action against the perpetrator immediately after landing.
What happens when you smoke on a plane?We assume that a lot may depend on the carrier and on whether the passenger immediately admits guilt, but it is to be suspected that in most cases the consequences will be severe.
During the Polish woman's flight, the person who was smoking ended up on the blacklist of the carrier and all of its partners - she received a lifetime ban from flying on their planes. Additionally, the daredevil was ordered to pay 50 thousand pounds, and at the airport in Cancun he was detained by the police.
“This vacation is over for you and you’re going back on the next flight to London,” the passenger reportedly heard.
Many Internet users reacted to the Polish woman's video. Some were not surprised by the outcome of the case, others, although they do not support smoking, pointed out that it used to be possible to smoke on board and it did not affect the course of the journey. "In the 1980s, it was possible to smoke on board the plane. Ashtrays were pulled out from under the armrests," we read. What do you think about the current rules?
