Russian attack on Ukrainian prison leaves at least 16 dead

"Overnight, Russian troops attacked one of the region's penitentiaries. Unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries," Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov announced on his Telegram channel .

According to this military official, the region was bombed eight times, with "one of the attacks hitting a prison. Sixteen people were killed and 35 injured," he added.
