Organized by the promoter Prime Artists, responsible for the former VOA - Heavy Rock, Evil Live makes its debut in Restelo after two editions at the MEO Arena, also in Lisbon.
Today, doors open at 3pm and the concerts start an hour later, with the Portuguese band RAMP, who celebrated 35 years of existence last year, followed by representatives of two generations of North American thrash: Death Angel and Municipal Waste.
The night ends with the return to Portugal of the Swiss band Triptykon, led by Thomas Gabriel Fischer, and the British band Judas Priest, who released their 19th album, 'Invincible Shield', last year and are celebrating the 35th anniversary of the classic 'Painkiller'.
On Saturday, the day starts, once again, with a Portuguese band, in this case Bizarra Locomotiva, followed by the North Americans Seven Hours After Violet and Eagles of Death Metal, before it's the turn of the Swedish Opeth.
From 8:20 pm onwards, German Till Lindemann, lead singer of Rammstein, will perform, and the night will end with the North American band Korn.
The last day of the event opens with the Portuguese Faemine and Gaerea, followed by the Japanese Crossfaith and the Ukrainian Jinjer.
Evil Live continues with the North American band Falling in Reverse, who precede their compatriots Slipknot, who close the festival after having already performed at Evil Live 2023.
In December, when Slipknot was announced as the first headliners for Evil Live, the organization promised, in a statement, to "raise the bar even further [in 2025]" and that "the transition to Estádio do Restelo, an open-air space with the capacity to receive crowds of fans, reflects this ambition and ensures an environment conducive to enjoying memorable shows".
According to information on the event's website, daily tickets cost 69 euros for today and 79 for each of the following two days, while a ticket for all three days costs 169 euros. There is also a ticket for Saturday and Sunday, costing 139 euros.
Children up to 12 years old do not pay entrance, but must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
Evil Live held its first edition in 2023, with Pantera and Slipknot as the main highlights, at the then Altice Arena, followed by an edition with Machine Head, Avenged Sevenfold and Megadeth, among others.
