Relapse? Fernanda Paes Leme is honest about her relationship with João Vicente de Castro

After attending the wedding of Giovanna Lancellotti and Gabriel David, held on Saturday (June 21) at Christ the Redeemer, Fernanda Paes Leme stayed at João Vicente de Castro's house in Rio de Janeiro. The stay reignited speculation among fans of the former couple, leading both to speak out publicly.

In an interaction with her followers through a question box on Instagram, Fernanda was direct when addressing the rumors. "Straight from João Vicente's house, where I'm staying during my time in Rio because we're friends. You're saying: 'Shippo'. Guys, sorry…", she said. The presenter also mocked the rumors by declaring: "The statute of limitations has expired, the crime has been prescribed", reinforcing, with a laugh, that there is no romantic involvement between them.

João Vicente, equally relaxed, responded to the jokes from internet users with good humor. When asked about a possible relationship, he said: "Of course not". Fernanda joined in: "We are together", joking about their friendship. The actor also commented on his current love life. "It's difficult", he confessed, and added: "I am a man ready to love without limits. I am open to love".

Both have previously admitted that they had a brief relationship. However, according to them, this is part of a closed past. "This did not happen and has not happened for many years," Fernanda assured. She is currently single since the end of her relationship with Victor Sampaio, father of her daughter Pilar, which occurred in December 2024.

During the broadcast, the former couple also lightly recalled a recent Valentine's Day advertising campaign that brought them together. João took the opportunity to answer curious questions from his followers, such as whether he would be a "good match or a trashy boy". With good humor, he replied: "I've had a past (laughs)… Nowadays, I wear a shirt with a kitten and a flower. I'm a man ready to love."

The statements were made on Sunday (June 22), when both were at the actor's residence, and served to clarify that, despite their recent coexistence, the bond between them remains exclusively friendly.
