Oryol searchers took part in the excavations

Searchers from the Krasnoarmeyets and Krylia Pobedy detachments, along with representatives from the Pamyat (Memory) search detachments of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Oryol Region, the Salut (Zalegoshch), OKA-Ryazan, Sudost, and Patriot search detachments of the Bryansk Region, and officers from the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Tula Region, participated in the excavations. The excavations were part of the annual Golden Autumn search operation.
According to the regional press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service, from September 18 to 23, they searched agricultural fields in the Novosilsky District of the Oryol Region. During the search, they discovered and recovered the remains of five soldiers of the 348th Rifle Division in full combat gear. Unfortunately, they were not wearing any identification insignia. Despite this, specialists still have to painstakingly clear their personal belongings to identify the soldiers.
A little later, the remains of the fallen soldiers will be buried with full military honors.
