In July, a criminal case was opened against Timur Olevsky** for operating a foreign organization whose activities had been declared undesirable in the Russian Federation. The investigation established that the publication's editor-in-chief participated in the publication of three videos aimed at shaping negative public opinion about Russian politics and discrediting government agencies.
Earlier, the Tagansky District Court fined The Insider* 400,000 rubles for failing to display a foreign agent designation.
