Moscow confectionery enterprises producing chocolate products increased production by 23.6% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year. Details were disclosed by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.

"Today, more than 120 Moscow enterprises produce confectionery products: gingerbread, cakes, sweets, pastries and others. The capital's support measures help companies increase production, expand their range and take leading positions in the market. Thus, the production of chocolate products in the first three months of 2025 increased by 23.6 percent compared to the same period last year," said Anatoly Garbuzov.

He also added that the capital's confectioners produced over 26 thousand tons of chocolate and confectionery products, including over 19 thousand tons of cocoa-containing products, 3.8 thousand tons of chocolate candies and 4.7 thousand tons of sugar products with white chocolate.

For example, the company "Healthy Chocolate" produces natural products without palm oil, sugar and lactose. The range includes bars, candies, pastes and hot chocolate from Ecuadorian cocoa beans.

The Rot Front, Babaevsky and Krasny Oktyabr factories, which are part of the United Confectioners holding, also produce a wide range of sweets, from chocolate to candies, using their own cocoa processing workshops and modern production lines.
