Super hot weather up to plus 30 degrees is forecast in parts of Russia

In the coming days, Siberia can expect hot weather with temperatures reaching 30 degrees above zero. This is due to the transfer of warm air masses from Asia, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, told TASS .

"Abnormally high temperatures are forecast for two days in the Siberian Federal District. In the Novosibirsk Region, they may reach 28-30 degrees, and in the Altai Region, they may exceed 30, and in the south of the region, they may reach 35 degrees. This is due to the influx of air masses from Turkmenistan, where impressive temperatures are currently observed: around 40 degrees during the day, and above 25 at night," he noted.

Temperatures are expected to be 10-12 degrees above normal, but will return to more moderate 20-degree readings on Saturday and Sunday.
