Blackmail trap for businessman's son! They sent his photos and asked for 100 thousand dollars

Istanbul Police Department officers launched an investigation after it was determined that a person was threatened by suspicious individuals in Sancaktepe on February 11, 2025. In the investigations, it was determined that a businessman named AU was called and texted by the suspects asking for 100 thousand dollars , and when AU did not pay attention, the suspects reached out to AU's musician son EU through his social media accounts, saying that they wanted their children to take guitar lessons and arranged to meet at a shopping mall in Kocaeli.

It was determined that the suspects arranged to meet EU at the shopping mall, took photos of EU and his vehicle, sent them to his father AU, and continued to make threats.

Teams examining shopping mall security camera footage caught and detained suspects named FB and BD in the Fatih district of Istanbul on February 20. The suspects were arrested by judicial authorities to whom they were referred for the crime of 'looting'.
