MİT captured Temir Dükancı, one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay in 2013 that killed 53 people, while he was trying to flee from Syria to Lebanon.

Dükancı, who is in the orange category of the Wanted Terrorists List, was captured in an operation conducted by MIT on the Syria-Lebanon border and brought to Turkey. Terrorist Dükancı was handed over to the Hatay Provincial Police Department.

MİT captured Yusuf Nazik, one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack, in 2018 and Muhammed Dib Koralı in Syria in January 2025 and brought them to Turkey.
