Ekrem Taşdemir, one of the residents of the neighborhood, said , "I live in the Pınarlı neighborhood. I'm 55 years old, and we haven't had any network service in our neighborhood for nearly 30 years. Because there was no network service, I went up to the minaret and spoke from there. There's no network service anywhere in the village, including the houses."
