The Devil Wears Prada is back! Filming for the sequel has begun

A sequel to the 2006 cult film The Devil Wears Prada, starring Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep, is officially on the way.
SHOOTING HAS STARTEDAccording to Variety, filming has begun on the sequel, which will star Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt. It was announced that Stanley Tucci, who plays the character of "Nigel", will also be in the cast.
NEW NAME FOR THE CAST: KENNETH BRANAGHVeteran actor and director Kenneth Branagh has also joined the sequel. Branagh will play the husband of Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly.
WHAT WILL BE THE SUBJECT OF THE NEW MOVIE?Although no official announcement has been made yet, it is believed that the sequel will focus on Miranda Priestly's career struggles at a time when traditional magazine publishing is in decline. The production is expected to be released on May 1, 2026.
