Emma Watson lost her driver's license

Actress Emma Watson, known worldwide for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, has been banned from driving for six months for exceeding the speed limit.

EXCEEDED THE SPEED LIMIT The incident occurred in Oxford, England, on the evening of July 31, 2024. Watson was driving at 38 mph (about 61 km/h) in a 30 mph (about 48 km/h) speed limit area.

The 35-year-old actor was fined £1,044 at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court today. The court also noted that Watson already had nine penalty points on his licence before the incident.

SHE DID NOT ATTEND THE HEARING Emma Watson did not attend the hearing, which lasted only five minutes, and the decision was given in her absence by the court.
