The incident occurred at around 13:40 on February 24 at a middle school in the Ihlamurkuyu neighborhood. The owned dog entered the school yard and attacked the students who were in the yard at the time. The dog bit five of the students who were running away and also injured a teacher who was trying to catch it.

Upon notification, health, police and municipal teams were dispatched to the school. The medical teams that arrived at the school provided first aid to the injured students and teacher and took them to the hospital.

While municipality teams caught the dog, police teams started working to find the owner of the leashed dog. In the work carried out, it was determined that the dog, which was tied in front of a house in Aşağı Dudullu Neighborhood, escaped by unchaining it, and its owner was determined to be AK.
