Love confession from Ayşe Akın: He wasn't playing Squid Game when I met him

Miss Belgium 2010, singer-actress Ayşe Akın was once treated for anorexia (an eating disorder).

Akın, who has now regained his health, described the trauma he experienced in the past days with the following words:

"You only want to see yourself thinner on the scale when you wake up in the morning. You pray not to eat. This is an extremely severe psychological situation. I was constantly seeing myself overweight in the mirror. I spent 10 years of my life with this trauma, this psychological disorder. When you start to be in the spotlight at a very young age, you are inevitably affected. They would tell me, 'You have legs like Roberto Carlos.' These kinds of comments turned into an obsession for me over time."

"First, I started a Bulimia process, which lasted about a year for me. Then Anorexia started. I don't blame anyone; it was all a big trick my brain played on me. I used antidepressants for a long time with the support of a doctor, and I was constantly checked. But the biggest thing that made me stronger and held on to life was losing my grandmother right before my eyes."

Ayşe Akın has now come to the fore with her love confession. She said that she is in love with Sung Hoon, the 120th star of Netflix's popular series Squid Game.

Akın said, "When I met him, he wasn't playing in Squid Game. He was playing in a series called The Glory, I saw him there and fell in love. We are friends now."

Ayşe Akın also stated that she lived there for 1.5-2 years and learned Korean.
