3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

Willem James Cowan - You Will (A Brief Reminder to Look Up)

London's Willem James Cowan continues to impress with intricate songwriting on his latest single You Will (A Brief Reminder to Look Up). The upbeat tune is acoustic guitar-driven with wonderful lap steel parts layered throughout to give this new tune a familiar sound. Enjoy You Will (A Brief Reminder to Look Up) in a variety of settings, from relaxing, getting your day started or at a party.

Cat Clyde - Wild One

Stratford's Cat Clyde released a new single this week, and it's a perfect song for your weekend playlist. Wild One is a mellow jam with a catchy tune. Clyde's vocals on Wild One are pure and earnest with a hint of old school style. Wild One is a versatile song that will fit on an array of playlists, a good one to share with friends.

Shad - Bars and BBQ's

Rapper Shad is back in his hometown of London to perform at the Peace, Love and Sunshine festival on Sunday. He's also gearing up to release a new album, Start Anew. Bars and BBQ's is the lead single from the new album, and it is lyrical gold. Set to a layed back beat Bars and BBQ's cuts deep with incredible rhyming skills by Shad. Bars and BBQ's is a great track when you want time to chill and relax.
