JetBlue Expands in Fort Lauderdale as Spirit Falters

JetBlue is the latest airline to expand in Spirit fortress Fort Lauderdale, hoping to capitalize on the ultra-low-cost carrier’s uncertain future.

The new flights, which JetBlue will start operating in November, mostly overlap with the international routes Spirit operates out of Fort Lauderdale. The new destinations include:
Cali, Colombia Aruba Cartagena, Colombia Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Liberia, Costa Rica New Orleans Pittsburgh San Pedro Sula, Hoskift.
