Fiat 600, Citroën C3 Aircross, Peugeot 308... Some vehicle models could catch fire due to mechanical failure. Discover the list of affected vehicles.

Vehicle owners, be vigilant. The government website Rappel conso has published several warnings warning of a problem affecting dozens of car models. A risk of "fuel leakage in the high-pressure hose, between the high-pressure pump and the rail" could cause a fire in the vehicle, endangering passengers. The reason: "the absence of a nut."

Which models are affected by this mechanical failure? Here are the manufacturers' names and the models concerned. Additional information, such as the vehicle's EC type-approval number, is available on the website, accessible by clicking on the link for each car manufacturer listed below. This number should be compared with the numbers on your car's registration document (box K). If you own one of these models, Rappel conso urges you to contact your dealership immediately.

  • Peugeot : models 208 V2, 308 V3, 408, 2008 V2, 3008 V2, 3008 V3, 5008 V2 and 5008 V3;
  • Fiat : 600 model and Grande Panda;
  • Citroën : models C3 Aircross V3, C3 V5, C4 V3, C4X, C5 Aircross, C5 Aircross V2, or C5X;
  • DS automobiles : DS3 Crossback and DS4 V2 models;
  • Opel : Astra L, Corsa, Frontera, Grandland X, Grandland V2 and Mokka models;
  • Alfa Romeo : Junior model;
  • Lancia : Ypsilon model;
  • Jeep : Avenger model.
