Sentenced for the Corinaldo massacre, he leaves prison for his degree but escapes
Sentenced definitively to 11 years and 10 months for the massacre in Corinaldo (Ancona), where on 8 December 2018 six people died following an attempted robbery with pepper spray in a nightclub where Sfera Ebbasta was supposed to perform, he graduated in law at the University of Bologna , but disappeared without a trace after the ceremony.
Andrea Cavallari , 26, one of the members of the spray gang, has been missing since Thursday. Originally from Bassa Modenese, Cavallari was detained in the Dozza prison serving the sentence he was sentenced to for the events that occurred at the Lanterna Azzurra in Corinaldo. A few years ago he began a course of study in legal sciences at the University of Bologna and graduated.
The supervisory magistrate authorized him to leave to defend his thesis, without the escort of the prison police and accompanied by his family. After the ceremony, however, he disappeared and is untraceable. Cavallari was arrested in August 2019 by the Carabinieri of Ancona together with other members of the gang to which he belonged, accused to varying degrees of multiple unintentional homicide, theft, robbery and personal injury, for having sprayed pepper spray in order to rob spectators of a performance by Sfera Ebbasta .
