The most beautiful songs by Enzo Jannacci revisited in jazz clothes and interpreted with the spirit of the big band by an orchestra composed of a dozen wind instruments, piano, guitar, double bass and drums, accompanied by a singer of great personality.
It is the concert that will be held today at 9 pm in the Auditorium in Piazza Risorgimento: on stage, with the show “ Enzo Jannacci uno di noi ”, the JW Orchestra , accompanied by the singer Boris Savoldelli . Together, under the direction of Corrado Guarino, they will propose some of the unforgettable songs of the Milanese singer-songwriter, rearranged by Guarino himself. The musicians will revive the artistic spirit of Jannacci, with his pieces tinged with swing but always performed with respect, in an emotional way.
Founded in 1994 by saxophonist and clarinetist Marco Gotti, the JW Orchestra has collaborated with top-level artists such as Paolo Tomelleri, Fabrizio Bosso, Tullio De Piscopo, Javier Girotto and Giovanni Falzone, Gianluigi Trovesi and Emilio Soana. Its members have gained experience with Rai and Mediaset orchestras, with the Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala and with the Sanremo Festival orchestra. The repertoire is based on original pieces and big band classics written by Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Glenn Miller.
The event will conclude the Jazzin Seregno Festival , the summer festival curated by the Paper Moon Jazz Club and organized together with the Municipality. Admission is free. FL
