A parish priest suspected of murder is now in the prosecutor's office. "He will definitely face harsher charges."
The horrific incident unfolded late on Thursday, July 24th, on a lightly traveled road in Lasowola, Grójec County. Emergency services were alerted after a passing cyclist spotted a fire. A man's body lay engulfed in flames , and an off-road vehicle parked nearby then sped away without using its headlights.

Parish priest from Przypki suspected of murderAuthorities quickly identified the owner of the car thanks to the cyclist's testimony. It turned out to be Mirosław M., pastor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Przypki. The 60-year-old priest was arrested. He quickly confessed, and the shocking details of the crime emerged. According to the District Prosecutor's Office in Radom, the priest allegedly argued with an acquaintance over a real estate donation agreement , then struck him repeatedly in the head with an axe and, while still alive, set him on fire on the road to cover his tracks.
There will be more severe charges against Father Mirosław M.Father Mirosław M. was charged with murder and taken into custody. On the morning of Saturday, July 26, he was brought to the District Prosecutor's Office in Grójec.
"The suspect is being questioned, and he will certainly face more severe charges for this murder. More information will be provided after the investigation involving the man is completed," the prosecutor's office in Grójec said during a press briefing.
